Obsah
Students expand their skills and understanding of film language in more complex situations. From basic time manipulation to combination of multi-layered time planes or weaving several narratives together.
Accompanied by scenes analysis, debate and discussions, the students work on assignements – either storyboarding short scenes with given topic or editing raw footage from contemporary film related to the topic of the lecture. The aim is to deepen the understanding of film language tools.

• Concept of Time in Mythology, Philosophy and Science: Flusser, Einstein, Feynman, Hawking
• Basic Time Manipulation (Time Tropes, Ellipsis, Analepsis, Prolepsis, Subjectivization Of Time, Continuity)
• Montage of Two Timelines: Flashbacks & Flashforwards
• Concept of Time in Film: Kučera, Valušiak, Tarkovski, Brakhage
• Montage of Multiple Timelines: Weaving The Time layers
• Mosaic Narrative Structure: Montage of multiple storylines I
• Mosaic Narrative Structure: Montage of multiple storylines II
