Obsah

Students will present their ideas for the feature screenplay and analyse their potential. After choosing one for further development, they will write a short Outline (1 – 2 pages) as the basis for their actual project.

All students will also be expected to actively participate in the critical and constructive analysis of the work of their peers.

Výsledky učení

By the end of the course students will:

Learn how to present and develop the original creative idea.
Understand basic elements of dramatic storytelling.
Learn to establish character(s), the world of the story and the point of view that allows them to achieve intended outcome of the story.
Grasp the idea of their Feature Script and elaborate it under the teacher's supervision.

Hodnoticí metody a kritéria

The minimum required attendance in the class in + 70 %.

The assessment is based on the student’s contribution and efforts to the class and their submitted Outline.

The assessment will be calculated as follows:

Attendance of the classes - 20%
Participation in class - 30%
Presentation of the original idea and the necessary re-writes towards a workable project - 50%
