Contents
The content of the work during the semester is to introduce students to film stylization. The student, in consultation with the teacher, chooses a short piece of music and, based on the consultation, creates a proposal for a coherent visual concept for the whole piece. The only constraints for the student are the realizability of the visual designs and shooting within the specified time for filming. During the seminars, various types of film stylization are discussed using examples from Czech and world cinema, both stylization in terms of the artistic design, the concept of the film work, or stylization in the form in which the entire audiovisual work is shot. At the same time, the difference between theatrical and cinematic stylization and the blending of theatrical concepts into cinematic work is discussed with examples.
Learning outcomes
The student learns about the connection between art installations, art performances, and stylized film. As a result of the semester work, the student will be able to master the conceptual art design of an entire music video, supplemented by the design of shooting and footage, or even a simple storyboard.

Evaluation methods and criteria
The student works on the semestral work assigned by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. The teacher also sets the minimum content of the semester presentation. During the presentation, the student first introduces his/her project to the committee and then describes the individual art designs in detail and answers questions from the evaluation committee. The committee's evaluation emphasizes inventiveness within the artistic design and the quality of the presentation. After the presentation of the work, the student creates a simple digital presentation of his/her work and submits it to the course guarantor for archiving.
