GESTURE AND MIME ACTING

Course instruction leads to an understanding of the importance of using body language in communication. The main emphasis is placed on the actor's attitude and ability to abstract from reality expression markings of human expression and present them in a visible expression form with clear communication in a strong and simple form. Students comprehend the power of a gesture and its particular expressive potential in body exercises. This is the beginning of the road to mastering the expression of one's own body into that of a fictitious body which in animation is used as the fundamental acting tool.
