Anotace:

Kurz je určen pro pokročilé studenty uměleckého zaměření AMU, AVU, VŠUP. Cílem je seznámení se s uměleckou tvorbou Kanady - s filmovou tvorbou, výtvarným uměním, literaturou, hudební produkcí současnou i minulou, s uměleckými a vládními organizacemi, které se věnují podpoře umělecké tvorby. Kurz také pojednává o umělecké tvorbě původních obyvatel Kanady: prvních národů, Inuitů a Indiánů.

Osnova (a sylabus):

Cíl kurzu: seznámení se s uměleckou tvorbou Kanady.

V jednotlivých hodinách se bude probírat předepsaná látka - četba a případný překlad. Videa a DVD z jednotlivých vybraných oblastí budou prezentovány a analyzovány - kanadská filmová tvorba, výtvarné umění, hudbní tvorba, literatura.
