The lectures will be divided into three basic sections: TV, radio, and print. The focus will be on understanding everything that the media have in common and the differences between them - e.g. the method of selling advertising time in each - in terms of space and financing. Students learn about the basic programme genres in radio, print divisions, and for television the course will look mainly at regional and cable TV.
