Paul Vanouse (USA) is an artist in new media and interdisciplinary research, radical media researcher. He is an Associate Professsor of Visual Studies at University at Buffalo. The workshop will present a basic outline of artistic tendencies in biotechnology. Paul Vanouse will conduct a „Wetware Hackers Workshop?“ exploring DNA imaging techniques within a ceative practice. The workshop is an introduction to DNA identification processes, contextualized by discussion of typical uses in the biotech sphere, ultimately aimed at expanding discourse and opening doors for artistic exploration.
