Outline and Syllabus:

This short module will provide an insight into the theory and practice of biographical documentary filmmaking. Furthermore Kudláček´s recent movies are an introduction to the American Avant-garde Cinema and the experimental practice of filmmaking. Kudláček absorbed Czech Film History during her student´s years at FAMU and made a number of films in Prague in the 90´s. This module encourages a personal approach to filmmaking: „Documentaries are passion for reality. The key to reality is you! Cinema is a magic tool for exploration.
