Intro Course to Panoramic Photography

Learn how to make an image in every direction, as large as you want.

Immerse people in your images. Create perfect, seamless panoramas made of multiple photos.

We will be teaching a basic introduction to spherical and gigapixel Panoramic Photography, overing such things as setup, hardware and software; Basic stitching techniques, blending of images; generation of HDR (high dynamic range) images; shooting multirow mosaics

It is recommended to bring a dSLR camera such as Canon 350d or Nikon d70 (or better). If you don't have one of these, bring any camera you can. We will have a few fisheye lenses which can be used.

Teaching this workshop will be Jeffrey Martin (founder of 360cities.net), Luca Vascon (professor of Immersive Imaging at IAUV in Venice), Chiara Masiero Sgrinzatto, Willy Kaemena, Martin Hrdlicka, and Carl von Einem (a professional photographer based in Munich).
