Familiarising students with the most diverse trends in contemporary world theatre. Emphasis is placed primarily on the diversity of contemporary theatre production and the dissolving of borders between different art forms.Contemporary creative work in the dramatic arts in the form of profiles of the practitioners of contemporary theatre, dance, puppet theatre design. Teaching focuses on artists whose work has become a reference point for contemporary theatre: Robert Wilson, whose work represents world theatre in a broad context, and the puppeteer and radical artist of the 60s and 70s Peter Schumann and his Bread Puppet group.
Studies are based on personal experience both through video projections and directly by visiting performances or through personal meetings with the artists.
