Outline and Syllabus:

Curriculum:

2. Expand motifs to larger melodic units (dynamic shading).

3. Gradual developing of vocal strength (this requires a relaxed throat and setting the tone on a deep breath).

Each solo singing teacher chooses breathing and vocal exercises and adapts them taking into account the individual needs and vocal ability of the student.

The same applies to the choice and range of repertoire.

Syllabus:

Constant perfecting of breathing and vocal techniques.

Expanding musical motifs to larger, more complex melodic units

and giving them various dynamic shadings.

The student is taught to feel „natural“ dynamics: when a melody rises we gradually crescendo, and we decrescendo when the melody falls.
