Synopsis:

This course in the history of Czech film is aimed at familiarising students with the period of Czech cinemato between 1960 and 2000, where alongside aesthetic perspectives (artistically important artists and works) emphasis is also placed on understanding the overall social, political, economic and technological context of those years, which significantly determined the nature of Czech cinemat in those years.
