Synopsis:

The course draws on the theoretical knowledge gained in the introduction to film production for first-year students in every department. The course objective is to apply the theoretical knowledge from Introduction to Film Production and acquire basic practice. First-year students acquire specific skills in a concrete example: they analyse a technical script, elaborate the technical components and then elaborate (in a simple form) a shooting plan and film budget. This basic orientation in the field of production and subsequent practical applications are an advantage to students of every field. Some will actually be involved in practice themselves. For students in the Production Department with a substantial number of hours of theoretical introduction in the first semester, this practical experience is useful for working on first-year exercises. Together with the theoretical background, this is the basis for the rest of the study in the field of production.
