The Photo Series for Exhibition presents the student's long-term work. It should demonstrate the skills he or she learned during his or her entire study programme. It is also the main part of the final examinations in the fifth year.

Grading:
A credit is given at the end of the winter semester for presenting the theme, a brief explanation of the work approved by the supervisor and in the meeting of the Photography Department.
A credit in the summer semester is given by the supervisor for the explanatory essay, consultations and starting the Photo Series.

Course description:
The Final Photo Series for Exhibition presents the long-term focused work of the student, and should demonstrate the skills acquired throughout his or her studies. It is the main part of the final exams in the second year of the Master´s programme and can be submitted to the final Master degree examination.
Students in this year may ask any teacher from the Photography Department to supervise their work. It is, however, expected the Series is created i mainly n the chosen studio.
Assignments:
Winter semester:
Choosing the theme of the intended Exhibition Photo Series, presenting the theme to the selected teacher who decides whether he or she will supervise it. Once the teacher has consented to supervise the Photo Series for Exhibition, the student must inform the Department of Photography of his or her supervisor and topic. The theme and supervisor are approved by the board of the Photography Department that also defines the work's opponent.
By writing the credit into the student´s course-unit record book the teacher supervisor demonstrates that he or she is acquainted with the student´s project and is willing to supervise it.
Summer semester:
Writing an explanatory essay on the intended Series, consultation with the supervisor and beginning the work on the Series.
