Friday, October 17, time: 17:00-20:00

What is Film Key? How the good (mainly Ester Krumbachova) and bad Czech filmmakers usually formed their Film Key? Examples of Key Films in World cinema. Screening and discussion about visual and sound motives of the classics and contemporary films. Recommendations and links.

Saturday, October 18, time: 13:00-17:00

Practical work. Themes of literary and pictorial material adaptable for film. Individual consultations, tutor´s critical opinion. Screening of selection of topical: Griffith, Renoir, Visconti, Morrissey, Scorsese, Schrader, Bresson, Polanski, Mann, Redford, Vachek, Stallone... Selection of one common or several individual practical video tests.

Sunday, October 19, time: 13:00-17:00

Summary and completion of the Film Key pilot with fully visible expression of a leading idea of the Film Key. (Collaboration in editing and work with recommended sound or music.) If possible, bring your laptops, sound archives, CDs, paper, pencil. Editing room of FAMU International will be available.
