Synopsis:

The objective of the course is a) to present the basic contexts and a review of the modern history from the perspective of relationships between areas of audiovisual art, culture, social processes, and information and communication technology; b) to clarify the terminology and concepts of intermediality and media in theory and practice; c) to take concrete examples and try out methods of critical analysis, interpretation and comparative analysis. The course also includes seminar exercises, reflecion, and the creation of intermedia works, joint research and excursions.

INM 2 picks up from INM 1 and expands the practical part of the course aimed at mastering some of the basic devices in audiovisual work.
