Synopsis:

Theatre as a human place (third theatre, its aesthetics and ethics, the place of theatre in society and the methods of work of actors that are particular to this concept).

Prerequisites:
Study Objectives:

Examination of work in theatre from the viewpoint of the Polish impulse: discovery and training of its acting language.

Outline and Syllabus:

Recognition and reflection on various approaches and „methods“ from selected excerpts from recordings of actors' work. Work with video recording to build insight, learn to read the actions of actors and develop a language capable of formulating this.

The seminar should be combined with an acting workshop that would permit trying out at least some of the procedures.
