- Synopsis:

Studio instruction with a focus on individual Masters' Degree projects or on specification of the form of a dramatic character (for theatre, film, TV).
The emphasis is on the dramatic departure point for costume creation and realization of costume objects and decor. Study is completed with a state exam.
- Prerequisites:
-
Completion of Bachelor's level study at a university with a corresponding major area of study (DAMU-stage design, UMPRUM-clothing, textile, AVU, Textile University - Liberec etc.) Ability for artistic communication, dramatic artistic expression and conceptual thinking. Knowledge (of form, design) of historical clothing and materials for creating costumes. Ability to work with a dramatic text, its formulation, identifying its importance and meaning. Master's project that is acceptable for the field.
- Study Objectives:

The goal of study is mastery of costume decor in all forms of theatre (drama, opera, ballet), film and television. A graduate having studied stage design/costume and mask is able to do independent costume creation (costume design) for all forms of theatre, film and TV and to work as well in areas of non-theatrical production.
- Outline and Syllabus:

The Master's level programme and instruction are individual. Curriculum is based on the Master's project and according to the dramaturgical pland of the DISK theatre.
