Synopsis:

A one semester require course primarily focused on contact between phenomena - drama/theatre - drama training - communication. From analysis of the relationship of theatre and communication moving to an analysis of the relationship of drama training and communication and finally devoted to the analysis of fundamental commucation with feedbacd redefined by their relationship to theatre and drama training.

Prerequisites:

Students are required to have a fundamental knowledge of communication issues from the aformentioned viewpoint.

Students work through a syllabus of selected topics from the communications field. Students are required to have a good study footing in their original study field.

Study Objectives:

The aim is a practical understanding of the aforementioned relationship; to compare one's own ideas with general communication models, communication skills and socio-educational skills; understand the bases of human behaviour and its symbolism; further expand skilss to perceive communcation behaviour as a collection of signs and interpret them effectively; expand skills in creating communcation behaviours as a collection of signs, intended and unintended for interpretation.

Theatre and communication:

- „communication of communicatio about communication“

Drama training and communication:

- communication as an educational category in drama training,

- communication as an artistic category in drama training.

Human behaviour and signs in behaviour:

- sources, bases and types of behaviour,

- semiotics,

- directed and undirected signs in behaviour,

- signs in behaviour in drama plays.

Communication:

- viewpoints of various professions.

Non-verbal communication:

- analysis of elements and codes of non-verbal communication in relation to educational and artistic tasks for drama training (practical)

Verbal communication:

- analysis of elements and codes of verba communcation in relation to educational and artistic tasks for drama training (practical)
