Synopsis:

This is a main course of study in the final year whose content is the preparation and execution of an independent creative drama training project.

Prerequisites:

In the winter semester an independent project is classified based on the written work - a record of the to-date work on the project, description of the current status of project preparations and plans for further work.

In the summer semester the project execution is classified.

Defense of the project is a part of the state masters Drama training exam.

Study Objectives:

In preparations and execution of the projet the student must independently demonstrate the multi-faceted knowledge and skills acquired in study.

Outline and Syllabus:

1. Selection of project type.

2. Gathering of material.

3. Project concept and plan; consulting about the project with colleagues.

4. Execution of the project.

5. Reflecting upon the project.

The independent creative project may have one of the following forms:

A) A staging with a children's or middle-school ensemble;

B) Internal drama training project in the extent of at least 8 lessons (or 2 projects - each of at least 4 lesons - according to the group type)

C) A workshop of at least 2 whole days;

D) A theatre staging in education and training, theatre forum or other type of interactive production with a focus upon children or middle-school youth.

Other that one's own work upon the projet the students also have regularly scheduled classes in which they with discuss the course of their projects.
