- seven- to ten-page term paper presented individually by students at the seminar

- Study Objectives:

The class's goal is to familiarize students with basic terms in the area of management and marketing and to verify their ability for university-level study in independent term papers on a chosen topic. Students present their term papers independently at seminars. Part of the evaluation of term papers is subsequent discussion on the method of its preparation and verification of knowledge of the chosen topic through answers to questions arising from discussion.

Curriculum:
At the first lesson, students are introduced to the dividing of the course into three relatively independent areas, receive a list of recommended reading and choose the topics for their term papers from a prepared list.
The following 3 blocks for four hours are each dedicated to one area. In lectures the teacher shows students the basic problems of terminology and familiarizes them with a fundamental viewpoint of the area. Students will present their term papers individually and will reflect on problems in discussion at seminars.
Attendance at 80% of seminars, a presentation, turning in of the term paper and passing the final exam are required for credit.
