Synopsis:

Individual chapters from the history of world theatre seen in the developmental context of world culture. Continuation of the history of theatre in the context of western culture 1.1 and 1.2

Naturalism and realism - birth of the moderns - origin of production theatre - first manifestations of avant garde theatre (futurism, cubism)

E.Gombrich: Příběh umění

Other literary works and dramas corresponding to the relevant developmental stages and literature dedicated to various phenomena contained in the list of required literature kept at the DAMU library and on the website of the department of theory and criticism.
