Synopsis:

The course is designed to provide students with an orientation in what film editing tasks are simple and possible and what tasks are difficult or even unsolvable and costly. Both are discussed from the perpsective of narrative and from a purely technological perspective. Illustrative examples are presented and analysed, while noting the technical and financial limitations of digital technology.
