Assignment: 5 credits for 100% attendance and the final film - who is interested has to contact Katerina Klaricova (katerina.klaricova@famu.cz, 234 244 307) before March 12, 2010 and to join KOS

Californian director and script writer Gil Bettman will during 8 days lecture and practically work with students on the theme „the thought that goes into preparing a moving shot“ in the Hollywood style.
Before Mr. Gil Battman comes, students should read the text from the lecturer book / available in the office of K. Klaricova/. They will also prepare locations for shooting, in which scenes will take place. They will know in advance themes they will shoot belonging to the American famous films / available in the office of Katerina Klaricova/.
Six teams will shoot six themes with digital camera. Each team contains one director, one cameraman, two actors. Six themes have to be chosen in advance from the Bettman´s list. Participants can be from any department of FAMU, speaking in English.
Schedule of lecture:
March 25, 2 pm - 6 pm, FAMU class no. 2 - Lecture about the draft of shooting with a moving camera
March 26, 10 am - 2 pm, FAMU class no. 4 ? Lecture about the draft of shooting with a moving camera
March 27-28, 10 am - 4 pm - Lecturer will meet with groups in location where they plan to shoot. No apartments no houses. They needs to find room that are as big a large classroom in order to have the actors walking and talking and the camera moving.
March 29-30, 10 am - 12 am - Shooting and editing with the lecturer
March 31, 10 am -12 am, Studio FAMU - Critics from the lecturer
April 1, 2 pm - 7 pm, Studio FAMU - Critics from the lecturer
