- Study Objectives:

a) Thorough introduction to the main developmental current of 20th century music history.
b) Instruction is focused, primarily, on the basics of dodecaphonic composition methods,
c) on serial and modal procedures,
d) on probablilty principles and priniciples of minimal music.
e) Monitored, particularly, is that the students exhaust stimulants for innovation in their own music language.

Mastery of fundamental composition skills of traditional techniques. Experience with 20th century music.

a) Examples of working with single-voice, two-voice and three-voice dodecaphonic study material.
b) Modal studies and detail studies of other contemporary techniques are a practical supplement to lectures over comtemporary composition principles.
