The course aim is to study in analysis and conducting at the piano repertoire works of orchestra symphonies from all style periods from pre-Classic to the present.

Study in analysis and conducting at the piano repertoire works of orchestra symphonies from all style periods from pre-Classic to the present.

Study materials:

Beethoven: Symphonies in E Major and C minor,

Mendelssohn: 3rd or 4th Symphony,

Schumann: 4th Symphony,

Dvořák: 5th or 6th Symphony, Czech Suite or Scherzo Capriccioso, Slavonic Rhapsody,

Smetana: Swedish Symphonic Tale,

Liszt: Les Preludes.
