- Study Objectives:

This course originates in the most challenging requirements for student preparations. The compositions are selected according to technique, but also for interpretation the most challenging. An emphasis is place on finger technique precision, intonation, rhythm, tone and breating practice. Non-traditional and modern bassoon techniques are taught.

Chamber literature for duets, trios, and other combinations of wind, string, keyboard and percussion instruments.
- Course contents:

This course works with students as exceptional music persons, who have no evident issues with instrument playing. They have a high level of technique, tone, intonation and interpretive skills. These are requirements to be able to weather solo, chamber and orchestra auditions. This course continues the set course from the previous which is creativity, very good bassoon technique, tone quality, and intonation and shift to the „perfecting“ of form. The aim is the highest level possible of mastering the greatest number of bassoon pieces. International competitions are a good guide for selecting compositions. However the compositions of Hindemith, Spisak, Teml and Šestak are not fogotten. Student inclinations in modern and experimental piece interpretation and are accepted. This orientation can be for many a life's mission. Other who do not share these intentions are guided in the knowledge of modern procedures such as multiphonic, circular breathing, frulato, etc.
