This course provides students with all skills needed for playing the French horn. All challenges are set before the player that were explained in „French Horn 1 and 2“ are in this course through appropriately selected etudes and recitals are honed. As well attention is payed to the tongue as a very important phenomenon of the fine setting of a tone or quick staccato. In difficulties, correction manners are investigated (as in French Horn 1). Here, through this work, is learned what this tongue technique offers. Individual types of embouchures from the finest to the accented or forced, not only in staccato but in the length of the staccato note. it is possible to play from detache to staccatissimo. Not only in etudes is new knowledge is practiced but recital compositions are selected such that this knowledge is used in concert activty. The etude selection contains the more challenging: Kautsky, Belolli. In recital compositions preference is given to composers such as: L. Cherubinil, J.V. Stich-Punto, O. Knussen.
