This course provides a basic explanation of functional terminology and its mutual relationship with the production crew in individual phases of film production: How the production crew is assembles, who assembles it, the individual professions, relationships to the director and the directors assistant, relationship of the director to individual creative professions and other technical elements of the crew.
1st lecture: What do we understand under the idea, „Production crew?“. Its individual elements, functional terminology, how the production crew is assembled and who makes the contracts.
2nd-4th lectures: Individual implementation phases. Preparations - implementation research. Implementation - shooting - excursions of one shooting day. Finalizing work. Excursion to editing, sound studios.
5th-6th lectures: Director's crew - preparations, shooting, finalizing work, director, assistant director, script, Clapper, meeting with directing assistants, etc.
7th lecture: Production crew - production crew head, vice-heads, assistants.
8th lecture: Camera crew and other technical elements/ lighting, grip, etc/
9th-10th lectures: Visual film elements, architects, visual artists, props persons, Costume designer, costumers, make-up staff, projection.
11th-12th lectures: Sound, music, editing, other elements /actors, „non-actors“, extras, stunt-people, musicians, special-effects/.
