Dramaturgical cooperation of the instructor and student with the literary base of the film (namely a portrait) in the 2nd year of study.

Moderated and non-moderated discussions: analyses of subject matter, screenplay and recorded material; screenings of completed films.

This course is linked to the Martin Mareček pedagogy workshop (1st year), where the students are introduced to the fundamentals of how to write a literary basis for a documentary film.

- Course contents:

The content of the Winter semester is the documentary film subject-matter - a portrait, the results of the Documentary film Summer semester screenplay - a portrait. The literary basis is to be developed so the intentions may vary for the subject matter and screenplay (more concretely and detailed): What (film topic), How (form), Why (personal and societal motivations), With whom (film participants), Where (set), When (summer and day periods), structure (film framework) and sequence sample (how the film should look).
