Course Description:

The Photo Series is the final examination in which the student presents all the work created in the given year. The Final Commission's set assignment and the Exhibition Photo Series is the main part of the final exams, and is defended by the student and assessed by an examination board of teachers in the Department of Photography. The Final Commission assignment is a series of at least 6 photographs on a theme set at the beginning of the academical year. This assignment can be consulted with any pedagogue.

The student also submits a written report on the course and current state of his or her final theoretical essay. The report must be signed by the student?s supervisor.

At the final examination in the spring the student presents all practicals made in this year according to the year?s curriculum (RUP) as well as work made in workshops which he or she has signed up for.

If the student has good reasons for not being able to complete some practicals, he or she shall, at the final examination, present a request to defer some of these subjects and practicals. The request must be signed by the teacher of the subject in question. At most only two subjects or their practicals may be deferred. These postponed assignments have to be submitted at a commission at the term of the September's Final Commission.

A condition of awarding the graded credit is the presentation of the required practicals in electronic form, mainly the Photo Series for Exhibition.

The student is required to exhibit the Exhibition Photo Series in its definitive form in defined places at a certain period.
