Study Objectives:

The aim of the course is an introduction to the development of electro-acoustic music from its origins to the present and the potential of its use in audio and AV.

Knowledge and skills from music courses in previous study.

Course contents:

Students learn about the development of electroacoustic (EA) music from its origins to the present and are given the opportunity to use it in audio and audiovisual work. Students test their skills in practice working creatively with EA music as an expressive medium and test the possible uses of spatial sound. Students also learn about the latest works by domestic and international EA composers.
