The course aim is to introduce particular technical, software and hardware equipment for creating electro-acoustic sound.

Presentation of factual data for selected topics. Listening to and analysis of music and possibly AV examples and class tasks. Discussions.

- Course contents:

Students learn about the creative capacity of tonal and non-tonal sound objects and how to edit their parameters using sequencer technology for recording sound and music data in time sequence. Theoretical and practical information is provided on MIDI systems and AWS (Audio Work Station). Practical combinations of these technologies are tested and tried out in a special exercise.
