Preparations for the sound designer and sound director professions for creative work with music. Students are to master the systematic classification of the music instruments, principles of sound creation, acquaint themselves with common instruments, their acoustics, technical and expressive particulars and types of music groups of various genres. Students also adopt the used profession terminology.

Basic parts of a music instrument. The instrument classification system according to sound creation principles and music practice - symphonic orchestra instrument groups.

Symphonic orchestra. Score. Public orchestra concert. Choirs.
