Gradually pre-mixes of dialogues and background noise will be mixed and then one' own mix. The mix is to be created with vertical and horizontal structures among the current sound tracks in order to, in interaction with the image, provoke the intended reaction of the audience. As well there must be an overall balance in the mix and a creation of aesthetic sound transitions. An important aspect is the multi-channel format of the mix. Students practise their reactions and memory as well as adopt practices on equipment (or analogous equipment) they will complete their additional group exercises. Individual pairs (mixing takes place in pairs) work is managed on-going by the instructor and evaluated in the final check of the screening. There will be a discussion with the students over the results. After a presentation of additional equipment, instruction will proceed allong the following topics:

ProTools, listening, volume control, screening
2) Preparing „loops“ - pre-preparations of logical beginnings and ends of recorded sequences
