The aim of the course is to prepare students for peculiar editing work with music recordings based on an understanding of music logic and the nature of acoustics.

Study exercises with group treatments of prepared practical tasks.

Natural musicality, audio-analytical skills and sense of aesthetics.

- Course contents:

Through practical assignments students learn how to sound edit musical recordings, especially archive music, in order to acquire their own experience in this area. The course focuses on understanding the logic of musical form and acoustic-psychological principles - a prerequisite for skillful editing of music material.
