To practice giving clear directions so as to get optimal performances from actors.
To gain confidence as a director.

To see as many excellent acting performances as possible in theatre and try to meet the actors.
- Course contents:

This course aims to provide students with tools for working with actors, and practice using them. In part II., students focus o nscenework, preparing and directing actors or fellow-students in scenes.

In week 4, Erasmus students at DAMU enter the course to work as actors, wiht the CDM students directing them.
- Assessment methods and criteria

Participation in class exercises, attendance, presentation of final scene. Course is offered on a pass / fail basis. For credit, students must have 70 % attendence and present a final scene.
