The light and its properties. Basic properties of optical environment. Optical display. Aberrations of optical systems. Photometric characteristics of the optical system. Viewing a compound optical system. The image quality. Radiation sources and receptors. Optical elements and systems. Methods of measurement of the basic parameters of optical systems. Imaging lenses, their basic types and display properties. Lenses with variable optical characteristics. Evaluation of display quality optical systems. Installation and justáž lenses. Wave optics. Interference of light. Diffraction of light. Polarization of light. Application of wave optics in cinematography. Quantum optics. Holography.
