The aim of this course is to expand basic (previously acquired) knowledge of the CDM program in planning and managing shooting, understanding the role of the producer and overlapping into the responsibilities of the Head producer.
This course is primarily to aid directing students in the awareness of the necessity of preparations and enable them to collaborate on the projects of colleagues as the producer.
Lecture content is analyses of current and planned student CDM students with an emphasis on production work.

Any FAMU International project - short film recording on DVD - analysis of the production preparation procedures.
Any (short film) project - from official DVD distribution - analysis of the producer's planning procedures on location, a commercial project and comparison with student projects.

Optional excursions: Studio Barrandov (lab, storage, studios), a visit to current shooting projects (feature film, TV film, commercial).
