Introduction to the history of color photography including practical examples and analysis of the potential of modern color photography with a view to achieved true color reproduction.

Lectures are supplemented by examples with extensive image material.

Issues in color reproduction, physical and tri-chromatic color reproduction.

History of color photography.

Fundamentals of colormetry and colormetric concepts.

Adaptation and exact color reproduction.

The chemistry of color photography.
