Students should, during study, master conducting from the piano, the fundamental areas of Czech choral repertoire and an overview of choral works in all fundamental period styles.

Mastery of the basic areas of the Czech choral repertoire and acquisition of an overview of world choral works in all basic style periods.
- Study materials:

Choral works of B. Smetana, Pavel Křížkovský, J.B.Foerster. Study of domestic classical polyphonic works (Jan Campanus Vodňanský, Kryštof Harant z Polžic) and foreign (Lasso, Palestrina, Vittoria, Hassler). Choral works L. Janáček, Jos. Suk, V. Novák, B.Martinů and their contemporaries. Choral works of the Czech and world Baroque. Romance and Impressionistic choral works. Choral works of significant composers of the 20th century (Stravinskij, Poulenc, Britten).
