Good mastery of the main study and its techical and artistic issues.
Secure and broad bearing in the legacy of musiic and its style periods.
Study of the fundamental piano chamber music repertoire.
Graduation year. Preparations for the graduation concert, respectively a concert with an orchestra. Emphasis on high independence and the transition from study to artistic practice.

Curriculum framework.
4th year:
- program for the graduation concert, concert with an orchestra
- defense of the written supplementary paper and graduation concert
- state exam in „The History of Piano Literature“
- Study materials:
-
Basic piano literature of the Baroque, Pre-Classic, Vienna Classic, Romantic, Impressionistic and fundamental literature of the 20th Century (Prokofiev, Debussy, Ravel and others). This basic literature will be expanded to the required repertoire for various national and international competitions.

In this semester students assist in leading the piano classes. They are responsible for the content.

Credit is awarded byt the main study instructor for fulfillment of the study play and corresponding preparations for the graduate concert.
