Study Objectives:

Basklarinet je nástroj mnoha hudebních uskupení. Předmět postupně vybaví studenta všemi schopnostmi a vědomostmi, které při hře na basklarinet potřebuje. Studenti jsou rozděleni dle svých schopností . Seznámí se s technikou, jak správně na basklarinet hrát. Vzhledem k tomu, že rozdíly ve hře na basklarinet u studentů mohou být veliké, je vždy volena individuální cesta výuky. Také pohled studenta, proč chce na basklarinet hrát, je určující pro metodiku předmětu. Studenti se seznámí s nástrojem a jeho možnostmi. Pro ty, co jsou ve hře na basklarinet dál, se pomocí snadnějších etud pojmenují jeho problémy s hrou na nástroj a je hledána cesta nejschůdnější nápravy.

On-going participation in symphony and opera orchestra auditions.

Instrument skills at the level corresponding to the study year and student profile.

Chamber literature of duets, trios and other combinations of wind, string, keyboard and percussion instruments.

Course contents:

The Bass clarinet is an instrument of many music groups. This instrument is extensively used in orchestra, solo and, today, other music genres. This course gradually provides students with all skills and knowledge needed for playing the bass clarinet. Students are divided according to their skills. They are introduced to the techniques of proper playing of the bass clarinet. Considering that the difference in students' playing of the bass clarinet can be great a individual path of instruction is selected. This individual approach and the acceptance of various skills is the path to get the less proficient quickly to a good playing level. The reason the student wishes to play the bass clarinet is definitive for the course method. Not everyone is interested in the bass clarinet solo track. Many wish to play this instrument for practical reasons. There are many advantages in auditions for orchestra chairs. Students are introduced to the instrument and its potential. For those who continue playing the bass clarinet the help is found in the easiest etudes identifying playing issues and a path to the feasible correction is found.
