Study Objectives:

Na jednodušších etudách a přednesových skladbách se rozpoznají a definují jednotlivé nástrojové a hráčské problémy, které si student přinesl z předešlého studia - ty se mohou týkat hlavně tvoření tónu, nesprávného dýchání a neznalosti principů správné techniky.

Instrument skills at the level corresponding to the study year and student profile.

Chamber literature of duets, trios and other combinations of wind, string, keyboard and percussion instruments.

Course contents:

The Bassoon is an instrument used in many music groups. This course provides students with all skills and knowledge needed in playing the Bassoon. The course aim prepares the student for the soloist, chamber or professional orchestra track. The educational viewpoint of this is not neglected. The graduate will be prepared for the middle-school and conservatory education track. The student must sit and entrance exam for the course in which talent, stage performance skills and technical maturity. The primary component of instruction is the recognition of poor habits or unresolved issues which the student has brought with them. This may include the creation of tone, improper breathing and ignorance of proper technique. The technical aspect of playing is instructed through easier etudes - Pivoňka, Milde where it is possible to precisely demonstrate how it may be possible to achieve the most effective correction. This includes primarily practices in holding first noest of a group of fast notes, ex: the first and third of four sixteenth notes, or the first and third of a triplet, etc. Individual exrecises for tone quality, proper embouchure and breathing exercises are also part of instruction and guided such that each exercises correspond to individual student skills. Musicality and Baroque and Classic principles of performance are taught with composers such as Marcello, Bach, Hummel for their transparent structure and simple technical aspect. This covers primarily the structure of phrases, topics, climax, dynamics, construction of the cadenzas, etc. This is all part of instruction at middle-school but not always does the student have extensive knowledge of this which may help in use for their profession.

Evaluation of instrument and orchestra playing, completion of the established repertoire, AKS verification, all concluded with the award of credit.
