Study Objectives:

Seznámení studenta s co nejširší literaturou orchestrálních partů z oblasti symfonické a operní tvorby. Příprava konkurzních vystoupení.

Chamber literature in wind duets and trios.

Course contents:

This course provides students with knowledge of orchestral literature and practices the most important solos which an orchestra member may encounter. Each course gradually introduces all composers and their important trumpet solos for orchestra. This course practices the orchestra studies by - V. Junek, L. Lutak, F. Gumbert, H. Pietysch and Czech Philharmonic parts.

Participation of students in auditions for symphonic and opera orchestras.

Assessment methods and criteria

Evaluation of instrument and orchestra playing, completion of the established repertoire, AKS verification, all concluded with the award of credit.
