Student acquire performance knowledge. Performance quality, style and aesthetic is systematically assessed. The course provides students with a knowledge of solo literature. The most important solos that a musician can encounter are practiced. Students prepare for their graduation performance.

- Course contents:

In this final course all aspects of tuba playing which may arise are reviewed at least from the viewpoint of the student. The student learns to formulate issues of playing. They learn to resolve all possible combinations of problems which may be foreseen. The student is guided so that in their instruction track they will be able to analyse situations and draw the correct conclusions. The student is guided to an understanding of concert dramaturgy and psychological aspects of the soloist performer. They must be able to name and explain all aspects. In compositions played they, first of all, demonstrate their music thought and personality. They are prepared for an independent career. Their viewpoints are compared to those of the professor and directed in the appropriate area. The course works with the student as a distinctive musician who has no apparent problems in playing the instrument. They have excellent technique and tone quality, intonation and performing skills. These are conditions needed to withstand well competition in the solo, chamber and orchestra music fields. This course continues the established path of the previous course, and mainly creative activity, excellent technique, tone quality, intonation working towards the „perfect form.“ The fundamental repertoire and other compositions appropriate for the stage are use for this perfect form, for example; Durkó, Krzystek, Bountry, Censhu, Brughton, Katzenbier, the 21st century and contemporaries.
