Study Objectives:

Cílem předmětu je posílit schopnost vnímání pohybu vlastního těla, zejména v rovině funkcí pohybového aparátu ve vztahu k prostoru. Pohybová zkušenost je konfrontována s anatomickými a fysiologickými zákonitostmi lidského těla.

Mode of delivery:

Lecture, exercise, classes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites:

Extensive movement experience, at best dance.

Recommended optional programme components

No elective requirements.

Course contents:

In the first semester the lectures cover the following topics:

Anatomy terminology, basics of body orientation, skeletal axes;

Functional anatomy tissue of the movement system, general skeletal anatomy, joints and skeletal muscles

Lower extremeties bones and joints

Upper and lower extremeties muscles

Demonstration - bones, joint models

muscles of the head, neck and trunk

the digestive system

repiratory and genital-urinary system

Central nervous system

peripheral nervous system, senses, skin

The theory presentation is supplemented with practical demonstrations and active student exercises.
