Cílem předmětu je seznámení posluchačů s metodou „pilates“, zejména s jejím využitím v oblasti tance při výchově budoucích tanečních umělců

- Course contents:

1. Through a specially constructed series of exercises, strength, balance, and flexibility are developed and muscle unbalance, is eliminated. The center of the body is strengthened, so called POWERHOUSE. Emphasis is placed on breathing (coordination of breath and movement), thorough execution (quality is more important than quantity), movement management (necessity of complete control of the executed movement), concentration (awareness of working with the body in every phase of movement. The body and mind closely work together)
