seskošThis course serves primarily to expand folk dance knowledge, its dance technique, the acquisition of flexibility and dance experience in the area of folk dance. Expanding the knowledge of basic dance steps and their variations: practice and technical mastery of dance steps in specific areas. Further manners of linking variations and their use in dance.
2/4 rhythm steps walking gait, polka step (smooth, hopping, tread, shakes, two-measure motifs), smooth step dance, hopping step dance, tread dance, double-hop, double-step, jump (seskočná, poskočná, smrt'ák), Valašský step:
3/4 rhythm: three-step, divided three-step, Mazurka (in three steps, in two steps, in one step), Mazura, Sousedská Vyšlapávaná, Sousedská Hladká, Sousedska Přisunná, Rejdováková Sousedská, triple step of Southern Bohemia Reels (held):
More complicated combinations of dance steps: All steps are executed individuallz, then in pair, first straight, in turns and spins. Various types of partner holds and changes of them are added. Spinning is done a more difficult direction, greater frequency of turns and various floor movement plans"
Dance of individual regions and their variations: Dance with a firm connection to the music accompaniment are located in a few areas provided and subsequently compared in their differences and detailed variants. For example Švec, Kadlec, Mlynárský, which are possible to find throughout the area. Dance with changing meter (Mateníky, Směsky, Zelené kúsky, latováky, etc.) are, in their breadth, rich material which is gradually discussed.
An emphasis is placed on the technical mastery of individual dances and their basic steps with the highest possible quality.

This course is intended for students of all dance education specializations. The content is linked to „Folk Dance 1 & 2.“ This is primarily a dance instruction practical. Knowledge of folk dance basic steps and forms from Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia are expanded.
