Studenta motivovat v hledání a objevování vlastního pohybového slovníku.

Instruction is connected topically to the material of the first semester. Issues in student choreography development of selected compositions in topic and variation are covered. Information about the choreographic process is acquired and applied during preparation of the independent work.
- Prerequisites and co-requisites:
-
Choreography study students much be graduates of a dance conservatory or another vocational school of similar significance. They must have been a dancer in a professional ballet ensemble or other professional dance ensemble. The student must pass the entrance process, have talent, imagination, managerial and organizational skills for performing as a creative choreographer.

- Course contents:

Abstract choreography - a movement theme and its development according the character of the music form. The main education aim is that the movement theme is as closely tied as possible to the music composition. The choice of movement tools, space treatment and choreography dynamics are inspirationally developed and respect the music form. This is a purely abstract choreography without efforts for an impression of content. The number of performers is open. The instructor monitors the development of the study and intervenes, if needed, with comments.
The semester work is open: The student can prepare as many abstract choreographies of their choice with a length of 5 minutes summarizing knowledge acquired in the entire first year.
The examined choreographies from both semesters will be executed in the an exam before the dean's committee.
